I was in the midst of shock because I cannot believe that the Dean of Physical Therapy choose me as one of Most Outstanding Student of our batch especially in my section. If you remember way back then in my kawaii-feenque.com I rant about my goals and dreams in life to become one of the Dean List in my batch and say what! I am one of them now not only in my class but as in our whole batch 2012, I think this would be a reward for my perseverance and being at focus in my studies and set aside the temptation I gone through. Well here is a recap of my student life, I am a lazy student I think in my First Year 1st Semester, I really do nothing but to sleep in my class, chatting with my friends, texting, and even worst I cut class or leave a mark of absent in my attendance, that is why I got low grades back then and I really regret being a lazy one, maybe because I am confident in my capability to survive in my college life, but dang~! I am all wrong, College is not easy as like in my High School life wherein you can sleep during subject or chatting with your seatmates if you got bored with the topic discussed by your teachers. Yes I admit in myself I am a smart person because If I want to be on TOP 1 I can do it, yet being overconfident makes me a lazy one too, thinking that it would be an easy one for me since I am a Fast Learner Person and because of this one It really affects my performance in school, and this mistake of mine that I committed serves as a lesson for me to pursue my dreams with an action and perseverance.

Yay~! posted my grade here makes me proud of myself too at the same time while looking at it, obviously you will see the result of my perseverance and my determination to become one of the Dean’s List, I hope that this post might inspire to those graduating student who will soon become a freshmen in College. My only advice to those people who want to achieve the Dean’s List is, you must to be at focus on studying but don’t be a nerd you must to enjoy everything while studying so you will appreciate it, set aside first those things that might affect your performance and always set a goal in everything you do, always visualize your future and also choose a course that you know you really like and not because it is a trend of our generation or your parents told you so.

Here is the Certificate of Recognition and Awards I received from the College of Physical Therapy (Jan. 16, 2009).

Certificate od Recognition and Awards

  • 1. Most Outstanding Student of our Section PPT23 - it also means I am the highest in our section (TOP 1).
  • 2. Certificate of Academic of Excellence - I am the TOP 5 in almost 104 student of second year in Physical Therapy Batch 2012 that garnered a 90.80 GWA (General Weighted Average).

I blurred my surname for the privacy of my life.
I dedicated this post to my parents who are also reading my blogs and supporting me all the way and was so proud about me and they really spread out the news to our family even to their friends at Philippines and in Greece even their boss know about my achievements and they congratulate me all to the success I received, my parents are only my inspiration that is why I am studying hard for them and also for the future ahead for me.

In my Next Post I will be answering a tag by a friend of mine Kevin about peace, thank you for the tag :D.
